Today, like most days, I played four square at recess.
Unlike most days, today we used a slightly-flat, old soccer ball. We had to hit it higher to make it fair. But that turned it into a game in and of itself. We played slow-motion four-square.
"I just like [recess]. [Recess]'s my favorite."
"Make work your favorite. That's your favorite, okay? Work is your new favorite."
Thank goodness recess is part of work.

I used to love that game at school!
Ball games are great. I want to go back to school - but just for recess.
Can't say I've played four square before... but yes, I loved recess when I was in school! :)
I haven't either, but my hubby did. Guess it's an American thing. He tried explaining, but perhaps I'm too old to appreciate. I was always more of a hopscotch and "ye ye" queen (rubber-band skipping rope).
I used to play that all the time! Nice picture.
What a super fun teacher you are! I'm sure your students love that you play with them at recess :)
